There's a hard-working musician from Halifax named Dave Carroll. He plays in a Canadian band called Sons of Maxwell.
A little over a year ago, Sons of Maxwell were flying to a gig in Nebraska and a horrible event took place. The boys left Halifax - FLYING UNITED AIRLINES - and had to change planes in Chicago. While waiting to get off the plane to make their connecting flight a woman seated nearby cried out: “My god they’re throwing guitars out there”. Poor Dave Carroll soon discovered that his $3500 Taylor guitar was severely damaged!!
After exhausting EVERY avenue available Mr. Carroll was told by United Airlines that they would NOT compensate him for his loss!!! UNITED DIDN'T DENY THAT THEY WERE RESPONSIBLE - THEY JUST TOLD OL' DAVE TO GET LOST!!!!
