....BASEBALL BEEN BERY BERY GOOD TO ME!!....HAPPY CLEAVAGE DAY!!!....

....A couple NICE wins on Tuesday night....
....The BABY-FACED ASSASSIN cranked a solo shot in the 10th inning to give the
Tigers a 7-6 victory over the White Sox....
....Josh Beckett turned in another SMOKIN' performance pitching 6 innings - allowing one hit and notching 8 strikeouts!!....the LARGE FATHER hit a 2-run JACK....Daniel Bard was summoned from THE BEST BULLPEN IN BASEBALL and registered 100 MPH on the radar gun....all these marvelous events contributed to a
7-0
shutout of the New York Yankees!!!....
....Red Sox' record against the Yankees this season: 6 WINS - ZERO LOSSES!!!
....The last time the Red Sox dominated New York like this: 1912 - when Boston won their first 14 games against New York and won the World Series!!!
....An interesting stat from last night's game: After Jose Veras drilled Jason "Yankee Killer" Bay with a pitch - NESN broadcasters Don Orsillo and Dennis Eckersley revealed that, so far this season, Yankees' pitchers have nailed Red Sox batters a total of NINE times....Boston pitchers have hit ONLY two Yankees' batters....WTF??...BOSTON IS BEHIND 9-2 IN BATTERS HIT-BY-PITCHES....TO QUOTE SIMON & GARFUNKEL: WHERE HAVE YOU GONE
PEDRO MARTINEZ
A NATION TURNS ITS LONELY EYES TO YOU (WOO, WOO, WOO)

....THE K-MEN WERE BUSY NOTCHING-UP BECKETT'S EIGHT STRIKEOUTS!!!....

....HERE'S THE LOWDOWN FROM THE MLB AMATEUR DRAFT:
The Washington Nationals selected pitcher Stephen Strasburg with the first pick....
....Strasburg went 13-1 with a 1.32 ERA this season for San Diego State...his fastball has been clocked at 102 mph!!....
The Detroit Tigers used the ninth pick to select pitcher Jacob Turner out of Westminster Christian Academy in St. Louis...Turner is 6-foot-5, 205 lbs...he finished his high school season with a 7-2 record and an 0.60 ERA...his fastball is in the mid-to-upper-90's....
The Boston Red Sox selected Reymond Fuentes with their 28th pick...Fuentes is a 6-foot, 160 lb. center fielder out of Fernando Callejo High School in Puerto Rico...
....According to Baseball America, the left-handed-hitting and lefty-throwing Fuentes is "an electric, game-changing player" whose contact-oriented approach and superior speed make him an ideal leadoff hitter....
....TONIGHT'S GAME - CHIEN-MING WANG VS. TIM WAKEFIELD @ FENWAY PARK - 7:10 PM....

....OH, GEEZ I ALMOST FORGOT, HAPPY CLEAVAGE DAY!!!....
